I don't think I'm a lazy person but, lately, it's gotten so I avoid shopping at all costs. The crowds, the time consuming process of going from store to store, getting through traffic and, once there, spending hour after hour trying on clothes or rummaging through endless items looking for just the right thing, whether for myself or a gift for someone else.

I tend to look for the unique, especially if buying a gift for someone. Getting something someone doesn't expect and is delighted with makes me happy. For example, you probably wouldn't think a coffee mug is much of a gift. But a coffee mug with a photo of her kids on it was just the thing for my sister for Mother's day. She told me she was having a bad day and the gift really cheered her.
